process of creating a Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Plan.
The Business Continuity Plan Generator simplifies the
development and testing of a well-structured plan
that will enable an organisation to recover
quickly and effectively from an unforeseen disaster or emergency.
It provides comprehensive templates and
guidelines that cover all functions required in the BCP process. These
include preparing detailed business risk assessments, developing
strategic plans to mitigate potential crises, procedures to handle
the disaster recovery and business recovery phase,
separate phases for testing and training in simulated conditions and
instructions for keeping the plan up to date.
Numerous hyperlinks are included between the the two parts: Part I is
a set of Guidelines and Part II contains the templates.
Format:
The BCP Generator is downloaded (via HTTP:) as a
Windows executable program (EXE) and requires an unlock code that is emailed
immediately when you buy the product. The format of the BCP Generator is
Microsoft Word™ 97+. A viewer is available at no charge.
